Another everyday week had by all. The kids are back at school and enjoying every minute. Regan played her first real game of touch football today, she was a little confused and not sure whether she liked it or not ... i'm sure she'll get the hang of it. It's funny we spent the whole winter telling the girls (in netball) don't chase the ball, stay with your player... and by the end they were great... It's basically the same team now playing touch and we've had to go back to the basics again... don't chase the ball, stay with your player.
I'm busy as normal - somehow got talked into running the white elephant and cake stall at the St Joeys fete as well as starting my new job as Girl Guide leader this term.

Shane said he'd put Regan to bed last night but when he didn't return I went in to find this...

A couple of photos of the kids on their favourite of all outdoor things...

July in review

This is a birthday book made for Nans quilting club called the Red Dove quilters... the inside layout came from one at Scrapsidaisy ... I assume it was Julieanne's so thanks for that.

For Grandma ...these are the ones taken on my camera

For Sarah and Kylie

I did this scrapbook page a few years ago after I lost contact with my high school friends, it's taken a while but Sarah has finally tracked us down through Facebook. It was great to hear from you both again .... I thought you'd get a kick out of some of these old photos.

Fairies in the garden

Nan and pop live in the bush on a large hilly property, on one side of the house is a gully that stretches from top to bottom of the hill. For years they have been telling us of how the fairies visit there... only for an hour or so each night and only for a few weeks, then they are off again until the following year. Well last night we were all lucky enough to see them in all their glory. I am of course talking of fire flies but what a beautiful sight... there were literally hundreds of tiny little lights dancing around the bush and flying right around us... so close in fact that Regan was beginning to doubt the 'fairy story', Aaron however is a true believer. Like all those incredible moments we were just drinking it in and I didn't take any photos but I am still in awe of the sight and thought I would share.

Also to share is a few cards I did for mum while she was here....

there will be more to come as she has given my her chrissy list....

a few years ago I made her this box and then for Chrissy each year I send her a bunch of handmade cards for her to give out through the year...

catching up

I actually had a lot to say over the last couple of weeks but since it's taken me so long to say it, it has all become a bit obsolete, so Ill condense.....we are back from Sydney and not very happy about the trip ... Aaron was booked in for a session a day of intensive Occupational Therapy however the therapist had had a bad accident a month prior and still wasn't back at work. I can understand that she was away but why they didn't ring and let me know still baffles me.... they didn't even inform me when I booked in on the sun..... and it wasn't until I was knocking on the door of an obviously closed office that I was told by the nursing staff that we wouldn't be seeing an OT at all.....we had a few other appointments which we went to but since it had only been four months since our last visit they could have been put off..... overall it was a week wasted not to mention all the money I spent shopping in the 'big smoke'.... The kids loved it however, they love going to school where there isn't actually much school work going on and Regan made a friend who has already got in contact with her. This friends brother has the same condition as Aaron but is a few years older so it is great to talk to them and see how their guy is progressing.

Took the scooters down this time...

This is Aaron getting eaten by a shark at oceanworld... he wouldn't stay still long enough for me to take a photo...... yes I know it's hard to stay still when your getting eaten but cant you just try .. for mum??

You never know what you might see at the beach at night

My folks have been here for the past two weeks which we have all enjoyed..... the kids have loved been looked after by grandma and grandpop during the holidays while I work and I'll share more photos later... the ones above are of my little guy showing off his dance moves at the liturgy for grandparents day on the last week of school.

This one was also taken on Grandparents day ... you can just see where this is heading...

and again at the end of the post I get to my scrapbooking ..... catching up a bit but nowhere near enough ..... these are the LO's I did after the kids lights out in Sydney..... for those who were at the Kim Archer workshop they should recognise all the leftover papers in the Jun layout
