All new stuff

I am now blogging on my new laptop (which i've got so I can get all my 'photo crap' off the main computer) using my new internet connection .... how 21st century am I.....
We had a great weekend ... netball was cancelled so we had brecky at Wingham on Sat, then did basically nothing for the rest of the day.... Regan had a party at the pool and Aaron was happy to stay at home and just hang.... on sun Regan and the girl guides helped Landcare Aust plant a heap of trees for national tree day and then we went down to the riverbank for lunch..... just lovely....
I think i've got back in the swing of the kids being back at school, and training, and dance, and guides, and.....the list continues... even though I worked over the holidays it was still more relaxing without all the extras that go with school....
Regan had her party on the nineteenth at Scrapsidaisy and all the girls just loved it ... there were a few non crafters who I think are now hooked. Her actual birthday was monday, I had to work, but she had a great day with Nan.... Aaron on the other hand not so happy..... it was hard to explain that she wasn't having 2 birthdays...

Thanks heaps grandma... the kids love their new jumpers ... they've come in handy as it's been so bloody cold here lately.

I thought it was a bit quiet last weekend and went out side to find the kids having a waterfight in the middle of winter ... how they can't feel the cold is beyond me ...

Till later...

It's my birthday

Happy birthday to me etc,etc.... having a lovely day, managed to get it off work and have spent it wondering around Forster with Nan and the kids, drinking coffees and eating too much yummy stuff....Shane and the kids got me Adobe photoshop 6 ... very excited and yes a little overwhelmed, I know how great the program is, just hoping I can work out how to use it to its fullest.... of to the library I go, hopefully they've got a 'dummys guide to'...... overall enjoying life at the moment, had a great weekend - enjoyed time with the family and even got some scrapping done....

I'm sharing my space at the moment with a rather large huntsman spider - large and smart - he is always sitting on my papers or half finished LOs where he knows I can't squish him or brush him away without damaging something.....his days are numbered.

Heres some random shots to finish off my post..

The irony of Aaron - this is him with his arsenal of weapons running around the vegi patch infront of Shane saving the flowers from the cultivator ... such a softy at heart..

enjoy....

Scrapbooking once again...

It seems to be forever since i've made use of my scrap room but finally i have completed a few projects that have been on the go for a while.... firstly - May in review..

and this is a diary to give to Regan on her birthday... she has started writing down little things that happen to her, her feelings, likes and dislikes so I thought it's now the perfect time for her to keep these things safe in a special place that she will be able to look back on for years to come... I have to admit I also love to read her writing at the moment with that gorgeous spelling and grammar that only a seven year old can do.....

and lastly we have decorated the test tubes for her party with cute paper, thank you tags and everyones names on the top..... looking smart I must say..... you'll have to excuse the photos... it's raining here - again - and very overcast ... I know that my camera would be able to deal with that without any worries but unfortunantly the opperator is without a clue....

talking of clueless photography ... I wasn't able to make it to Regans sports carnival last friday but Shane was .... so I sent him off with my camera and instructions for a few good action shots... this is what he came home with ...

yes, just one shot.... have I mentioned that i have a 18X optical zoom ... theoretically he could have taken a shot of her earing from where he was but no this is what I got.... how did she do you ask? actually this is the 200mtrs - way to far for her little legs to carry her and the fact that she is all alone in the photo says it all.... she tried her little heart out and said she was very proud of her race... got to love her.....she did come third in the 100mtrs and overall had a great day.

Till later.....
