Week 19 and 20

My new favourite week.... prettier in real life with the mint and pink but I'm not going to apologise for my photography anymore, its obvious that I'm having all sorts of trouble with glare.

Week 20 was a slow one with a distinct lack of photos..... so only a one page layout this time round...

The journaling on the you are awesome card is a conversation I had with Aaron after Naplan

Me: Hey buddy how was Naplan?
AJ: Had to pick someone who deserved a hero award
Me: Cool who did you pick?
AJ: Regan, shes caring and funny
Me: What did you write?
AJ: I did four arguments
Me: Is that good?
AJ: Yeah, 2 lines for each one, 21/2 for the first point, a beginning and an end
Me: That's about 12 lines did you have anything else you wanted to say?
AJ: No
Me: Cool OK

And that's just the way you roll... You do exactly what's required and cant fathom why you would do any more...
Fair enough too I say.... not sure about the examiners though.

That's it for now...

Project Life Week 16 - 18

Another three weeks done and dusted... These ones go over the school holidays which consisted mainly of hanging at home and relaxing with a few shopping trips thrown in......

and of course our 4 days at Kylies....

Sorry about all the glare on this pics, its a very overcast day here and its either too dark or too glary.

Thought I best include a mothers day pic as well...... nothing better than a brecky of nutri grain and so-so coffee followed by a day with the family....

Till next time....

We've been camping

In our gorgeous little home away from home.....

We spent 4 days at Kylies Beach and enjoyed every minute of it.... Mother nature was kind to us, it was beautiful during the day for swimming

and it was cold enough every night to cosy up around the fire....

(yes that is a Darth Vader beanie on Aarons head)

I made Jamie Olivers 'epic hot chocolate' for our before bed warmer

which was really really good....

(and yes a monkey)

and we only had one injury for the whole trip... Regan decided to follow Shane into the bush in the dark to collect firewood and ended up walking straight into a branch.... very close to her eye but only a graze... mind you she kept refering to it as her wound or scar for the rest of the weekend...

The kids (and I) all loved Shanes latest refit to the van and they used it constantly...

This is before with the big corner lounge that we didn't sit on because the backrests were so wide our arses didnt fit comfortably on the seat..

and now.... with two decent size single seats

and a fold away table... becides being able to sit properly it has also given us heaps more floor space and therefore a lot less yelling at Regan to 'get out of the way' or 'what are you doing there'.

and check this out... my first non project life scrapping project for the year - yes i am well aware it is May - Regans formal from last year...

Till later....
