I've been doing well keeping up with Project life so far but just not as good at Blogging the results... So here are the last few weeks of our lives.... Sorry about the pics, theres a bit of glare in the bottom corner of most and some funny angles but you get the jist.
Week 5 was all about the start of the school year...high school is such a big change for Regan and she is absolutely loving it, the jury is still out on whether she is going to be able to cope with the workload but so far her results have been great...
Week 6 was Aarons birthday which I've already told you about as well as re-fencing to keep Talos in (the bigger her gets the higher we have to make the fence) and starting the wood pile for winter... i had a few extra photos so added an 8 x 11 sleeve.
I was a bit short on photos for weeks 7 and 8 so they only got one page each. The friendship spot on week eight has been painted next to the basketball courts at Aarons school. If for some reason you dont have anyone to play with you can go to the friendship spot and one of the other kids will come along and play with you...... such a great idea. This was also the week Aaron missed his connecting bus at the high school interchange and a wonderful boy took him 'under his wing' and got him safely to St Clares where he was then taken to Joeys.... i can only imagine how scared he must of been.
Week nine was just a normal week, winter sports training has kicked in again and of course it rained and rained....
Nearly caught up: Regan was at the 'get to know your classmates camp' in week 10 and had to come home from that straight to netball training and then back it up with a game the next day... the girls have been put up two grades this year and are playing (and holding their own) against girls in yr 9. Regan's umpire training starts in May. It was also Shanes very non eventfull 40th birthday.... we will have to make his 41st something special...
And last for this post is Week 11 where I went over to the folks for 5 days. Mum and her friends have entered in this years Variety Bash and she flew the family over to help with the major fundraiser. It was a fantastic night that wiped us all out both mentally and physically....... I also got to catch up with my brother and his daughter who I haven't seen for 6 years.... Check out mums beautiful garden 'corners'...Regan is dressed as Batgirl for her first high school disco - i love that she wasn't scared to dress up and have a bit of fun....
Promise I wont have this much for you to work through next time...
Till then.....
